Curricular Internship

Curricular internships are for students who need to gain practical experience as part of their degree program. These internships can be completed at companies, public administrations, associations, or professional firms. The goal is to provide hands-on work experience, helping students balance study and work, and make informed career choices by getting direct exposure to the professional world (Art. 1, D.M. 142/1998).

The duration of the curricular internship is based on the number of academic credits required in the study plan. Each credit equals 25 hours of internship work.Internships can be activated at any time during the academic year.

How to Activate an Internship

To activate a training internship, it is necessary to identify a structure willing to host the student’s training program.

The student can choose an organization that already has an agreement in place or search for a host organization and start the process to establish a new agreement.
Internship at a Structure Not Affiliated with UnitelmaSapienza

The student must send the agreement, digitally signed by the legal representative of the organization or their delegate, via Certified Email (unitelmasapienza@pec.it). Please, download and complete the document attached below.

The file should be named after the organization. If the organization doesn’t have a digital signature, the agreement must be signed by hand and sent to: University of Rome “UnitelmaSapienza”, Piazza Sassari 4 – 00161 Rome.

Agreements with handwritten personal details will not be accepted.

Once the agreement is signed by both parties, the University will notify the applicant or the host organization directly via email.
