During 2023 the School organized the following training courses:

International training course “20Dialogue20Years”

The course consisted of a cycle of 27 lessons aimed at analyzing the 2003 UNESCO Convention. The lessons were structured in the form of a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) so as to allow anyone to follow them, for free, from all over the world. The teachers involved are professors, experts and public managers from 17 countries (Italy, France, Spain, Austria, Portugal, Belgium, Lithuania, Colombia, Brazil, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Turkey, Iran, Jordan, Burkina Faso, Mexico) who have examined the legal instruments for the protection of cultural heritage in their own legal system.

The MOOC has been followed by over 2000 people around the world, many of who have obtained a formal certificate of participation by attending it on the platform Learn.unitelmasapienza.it. Everyone interested in getting the certificate of participation can watch the video tutorial for the enrolment on the platform.

Specialization Course in Enhancement and Management of Local Systems

Created at the request of the National Association of Città dell’Olio, the course had a very practical approach and was structured into 4 modules:

tools and procedures of public administration;
models for valorising agri-food cultural heritage and sustainable tourism;
models of territorial marketing and management of the circular economy, bioeconomy and environmental finance;
the value of the brand in commerce;

The objective of the course was to train professionals capable of building district and area valorization paths, according to the so-called vital systemic approach that binds and unites a plurality of economic, technical, social and environmental factors.
